Associate Professor

English

is an award-winning educator, writer, retreat leader, and spiritual director, and she is the founder of . Her research and teaching focuses on Ignatian discernment, public humanities, and career formation. She is author of Rhetorical Work in Emergency Medical Services: Communicating in the Unpredictable Workplace (Routledge, 2019), winner of NCTE鈥檚 Best Book in Technical and Scientific Communication Award. Her recent scholarship appears in Arts and Humanities in Higher Education, Public Humanities, Jesuit Higher Education, and Presence: An International Journal of Spiritual Direction + Companionship.

Committed to bridging the academic-public divide, Dr. Angeli founded where she offers workshops, retreats, and one-on-one sessions for people who long to find their inner light so they can illuminate the world. She accompanies individuals and organizations through mission alignment, uncertainty management, and career formation. Dr. Angeli strives to make spirituality practical, inclusive, and accessible beyond religious contexts, emphasizing care for self, others, and the Earth.
